As a family photographer in Exmouth, Devon, I create natural, relaxed photographs that capture your family as you are — the laughter, cuddles, little looks and moments of connection that make your family yours.
My aim isn’t to make everyone stand perfectly still and smile at the camera. I want you to enjoy being together while I capture the moments that happen naturally.
Please don’t worry.
Your children don’t need to sit still, smile on command or know how to pose. In fact, some of the best family photographs happen when they are simply being themselves.
I’ll gently guide you through the session and give you ideas to help everyone interact naturally.
We might walk, play, explore, run around, have cuddles or simply enjoy being together.
If someone needs a little break, that’s completely fine too. Family photographs don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
Before your session, we’ll talk about your family and what you’d like from your photographs.
On the day, I’ll keep things relaxed and give you gentle direction when needed, while allowing plenty of time for genuine moments to happen.
Rather than spending the whole session looking at the camera, we’ll focus on being together.
There will be photographs of everyone together, but also smaller moments — a child holding your hand, siblings laughing, a cuddle, a little glance or something completely unexpected.
Those are often the photographs you treasure the most.
Every family is different, so your session shouldn’t feel like a set of photographs copied from someone else’s.
Whether your children are tiny, growing up quickly, or you’re simply at a stage in family life you’d like to remember, we’ll create photographs that reflect your family and your relationships.
